Sheet Metal Shears Uses
Shearing machines are found in all industrial and handiwork industries, where profiles are processed. This includes window construction, production of vehicle bodies, and installation of a general tube and pipe constructions. Section shears are often used in industry by the profile manufacturers themselves, to ensure their products are cut efficiently. Metal shears are characterised through their exact cuts and precise processing of profiles. This means that metal shears are a very valuable auxiliary material when producing complex constructions.
Hydraulic Shears Machinery
A sheet metal shear consists of a massive frame, within which the mechanical or electro-hydraulic shears is located. The profiled steel is guided through a fitted opening and then cut at the desired point. Commonly, a shear machine can cut T, U or H profiles. Particularly high-end section shears have an exchangeable cutting tool, that can be used to separate even very complex cross-sections without damaging the component.
Metal shears for sale are often constructed as a combined unit. In this case, there is a usually a metal shear or a hole punch incorporated with the section shear. All of these features require the same lifting mechanism, so a combination of all of these features in one machine is very useful. Shearing machines are either powered manually, by operating the lever, or hydraulic shears. The electric version is more suited for automation. This allows for a large amount of profiled steel to be precisely produced in a short amount of time.
